Created by Thunda & Tomato Events, The Witches Ball is more than a Halloween party. It's an immersive evening where fantasy, artistry, and a little Appalachian folklore come together. Guests are invited to step into a world of enchanted forests, mysterious potions, captivating performers, spellbinding décor, and a dance floor where witches, warlocks, vampires, fae, and creatures of every kind gather for one unforgettable night

Thunda and Tomato Events creates immersive, unforgettable experiences where queer and queer-adjacent people in Appalachia can feel safe, free, unhinged, and fully themselves. Rooted in consent, bodily autonomy, community, and a strict “don’t be a dick” ethos, our events blend festival energy with the rebellious spirit of queer nightlife—bringing together drag, burlesque, unusual performance, and joyful spectacle. Our mission is to build belonging, celebrate the spirit of queer Appalachia, and grow into a regional queer institution known for bold, inclusive, sell-out events.
